Strymon Iridium Amp and IR Cab Pedal

The Strymon Iridium is an advanced Amp Modeler and Impulse Response (IR) Cabinet pedal designed to give guitarists the sound and feel of three classic tube amplifiers paired with nine meticulously captured speaker cabinets, all in a compact, direct-to-PA or recording solution.

It is a core component for a pedalboard-only setup, rehearsal, studio recording, or live performance where you go direct without a traditional amplifier.

The Iridium uses Strymon's proprietary "Matrix Modeling" to recreate three legendary amplifier circuits with high detail and responsiveness:

Nine Impulse Response (IR) Speaker Cabinets

The pedal comes pre-loaded with a curated collection of nine high-quality, stereo IR cabinets ($24\text{-bit}/96\text{kHz}$ resolution) from industry-leading vendors. Three distinct cabs are assigned to each amp model, but you can mix and match or load your own using the Strymon Impulse Manager software via USB.

Key Controls and Features

• Controls: Dedicated knobs for Drive, Level, Bass, Middle, and Treble (which functions as a Tone Cut on the Chime amp).

• Room Ambience: A hybrid IR/algorithmic reverb control that adds natural-sounding small, medium, or large room ambience to the sound, giving the impression that the amp and cab are in a real acoustic space.

• Stereo I/O: Full stereo input and output capability.

• Headphone Jack: A dedicated $1/8"$ headphone output for silent practice.

• MIDI/Expression: Full MIDI control and preset access (up to 300) via the EXP/MIDI jack, or continuous control over parameters with an expression pedal.

• Bypass Modes: Features an Analog Buffered Bypass. Can be set to bypass just the $\text{Cab}$ section (to use Iridium's amps with a real power amp/cab or an amp's effects return) or bypass the $\text{Amp}$ section (to use Iridium's cabs with an external preamp pedal).
